Embodied Care Basics
Trauma Recovery Meets Sustainable Wellness
A 3-hour healing-centered CEU training for social workers, therapists, and mental health and wellness providers.
A Foundation for your Undoing
Moving beyond talk therapy to nurture an integrative therapy experience
A liberatory approach to care and connection
A lot of us were trained with frameworks that help us name symptoms, identify patterns, and create treatment plans.
And while that matters, it’s not always enough.
Because our clients are not just bringing symptoms into the room. They’re bringing survival strategies, body stories, cultural messages, family patterns, stress, shame, grief, overperformance, and years of learning how to disconnect from themselves just to keep going.
Embodied Care Basics is a foundational training for therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners who want to support healing in a way that makes room for the whole person.
In this training, we’ll explore how to bring somatic practices, body trust work, liberatory frameworks, and the Embodied Care framework into the way we support clients.
You’ll learn how to help clients reconnect with their bodies, build care practices they can actually sustain, and begin to untangle the messages they’ve inherited about their worth, their bodies, their productivity, and what it means to be “well.”
And this is not just about having more tools to use with clients.
It’s also about looking at how we practice care as providers.
Because we can’t keep talking about sustainable healing while building practices, programs, and communities that require us to abandon ourselves.
You’ll leave this training prepared to:
Bring somatic practices and body trust work into your clinical, coaching, or wellness spaces
Support Black women in healing body-based narratives with care that is culturally responsive and rooted in liberation
Help clients redefine wellness as something they can live, not something they have to perform
Move beyond only naming symptoms and toward care that honors the whole person, their lived experience, and their capacity
This training is for the practitioner who knows healing has to be deeper than symptom management.
It’s for the ones who want to create spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and invited back into relationship with themselves.

Meet your Trainer & Guide
Breah Robinson, LCSW, RYT-200
I'm Breah, a licensed clinical social worker, executive coach, and founder of Embodied Care Wellness. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, a Consultant-in -Training through EMDRIA and a 200 HR Yoga Teacher. I am a healer, a space holder, a community nurturer, and a guide.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about perfection, it's about returning to the wisdom of the body, honoring our lived experiences, and creating care practices that are actually sustainable.
For over a decade, I’ve supported high-achieving Black women, therapists, and wellness professionals in healing their relationship with their bodies. My approach is grounded in Black liberation psychology, Womanism, and somatics because our healing must honor both the individual and the collective.
I created Be Embodied because I saw a gap in how we’re taught to support body image and food-related concerns. Too often, the work focuses on control and symptom reduction. The training expanded beyond body image when I noticed how disconnected we (black women) were as a collective, and transformed into Embodied Care Basics.
This training is my offering to the next wave of therapists and wellness leaders. A space where you can reconnect with your own body, deepen your clinical tools, and offer your clients more than just coping… you’ll offer them the possibility of coming home to themselves.
I’m so honored to walk this path with you.
