Nurturing Healing Communities & Ecosystems of Care
This workshop teaches practitioners how to extend Embodied Care beyond individual sessions into community-centered, relational, and ecosystem-based models of healing. Participants will learn how to cultivate environments—groups, organizations, collectives, and digital spaces—where safety, connection, and liberation are woven intentionally into the structure itself.
Grounded in relational-cultural theory, collective care practices, and liberation psychology, this training shows how healing deepens when individuals are held in communities that reflect their worth, complexity, and humanity.
Participants will learn to:
Design and facilitate healing-centered groups with somatic and liberation practices
Build ecosystems of care that reduce isolation and support regulation
Integrate community agreements, shared power, and restorative boundaries
Foster belonging, connection, and mutual support among clients or members
Create culturally-responsive spaces that honor identity, story, and collective resilience
Ideal for: Therapists, group facilitators, practice owners, wellness leaders, community organizers, and practitioners building group programs or healing communities.
